Eating Disorder Help & Resources
If you think you or someone you love has an eating disorder, early intervention and specialized treatment is key. At Embrace Strength Counseling, our team specializes in eating disorder treatment and we work with the full spectrum of these complex disorders from a non-diet, weight inclusive lens. We value coordinating care with a treatment team and can also help with the transition from a higher level of care to outpatient. Our team includes two Certified Eating Disorders Specialists and we have over 20 years of combined experience at all levels of care.
We know establishing care can feel overwhelming. Your eating disorder treatment may include working with a registered dietitian, psychiatrist, and your primary care doctor in addition to eating disorder therapy. Below is a list of local and national resources that we recommend, including providers we coordinate care with frequently, eating disorder information, local support groups, and treatment centers. Please feel free to contact us if you are struggling with an eating disorder, such as Anorexia, Bulimia, or Binge Eating Disorder. We’d be happy to answer any questions you have and discuss how we can help, whether we become part of your treatment team providing eating disorder counseling, help connect you to other resources, or provide appropriate referrals to a higher level of care.
