Hello, my name is Reagan Rockholm and I am a master’s student at the University of Denver, excited to start my career in therapy. I found my calling early in life—I have always loved being an empathetic and helpful person to those around me. Through education, I have found myself drawn to the area of disordered eating and body image. All of the factors involved with eating disorders make it a unique and essential area of work. I utilize a mix of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions with clients, aimed at creating a mindful life according to values and disengaging from the patterns that keep us stuck.
I have previous experience with people with disabilities, adolescents, college students, and adults, and have collaborated with clients to treat a range of mental health issues. Along with interning at ESC, I have recently started training to facilitate support groups through the Eating Disorder Foundation. I consider myself a lifelong learner, curious about the world. After graduating with my master’s, I hope to pursue a doctoral degree with focus on body image and eating disorders. Outside of the therapy room, the activities that bring me the most joy are spending time with friends and family, exploring Colorado with my dog, reading, painting, and baking.
“It is truly a privilege to be a part of my clients’ growth. I look forward to helping you take these next steps towards a healthier and happier you.”
